The musical “Spider-Man” on the songs of U2, premiere in January

The musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark”, the songs wriiten by Bono and The Edge from U2, will have premiere in January 2011 after the Broadway producers have invested in this show no more than 65 million dollars, according to international media.

Directed by Julie Taymor, who linked the name and the “Lion King” musical was, finally, the first representation, after several delays due to various technical problems and injury to some of the dancers. It was actually a general practice, with public at Foxwoods Theatre in New York, which Bono was in the room and talked several times with Taymor on mounting bold.

At the show was attended by inspectors from the Labor Department in New York, which gave the green light to the 27 scenes in which dancers fly, literally, on stage. Approvals were required to comply with legislation on workplace accidents.
